Born into a poor family, Kang Chil spends 16 years in prison after being wrongfully convicted of a crime. Just before his release, he accidentally kills a prison guard and is sentenced to execution. In his final moments, he is given a chance to return to the past and change his decisions. His prison friend, Guk Soo, who claims to be his guardian angel, tells him that two more miracles will happen and urges him to learn from them. After his release, Kang Chil meets Jina, a spirited veterinarian. They fall in love, drawn together by the suffering in their pasts. However, their happiness is short-lived when Kang Chil discovers that the murder victim from 16 years ago was Jina’s uncle. Simultaneously, the person who framed him continues to threaten his life. In the face of this danger, time turns back once more. Through these experiences, Kang Chil realizes that, despite the bleakness of his life, there were people who made sacrifices for him. He comes to understand that regardless of his circumstances, the time spent with these people was a miracle.
