This film recounts the narrative of Chinese Hand to hand fighting Expert Huo Yuanjia (1869-1910). Huo Yuanjia was the pioneer and profound master of the Jin Wu Sports League. This biopic is set during the last part of the 1800's to mid 1900's, an essential period in China's set of experiences when the entire nation was covered under expanding inward strife and the unavoidable danger of unfamiliar intrusion. Huo Yuanjia starts the story as a presumptuous, youthful Hand to hand fighting expert with only one thing at the forefront of his thoughts, to turn into the best at his art no matter what.
