It brings a reasonable portrayal of the outrages committed during WWII. The story is told through the awful sentiment between an American pilot who crash lands in China and the widow who saves him. After the assault on Pearl Harbor, the American government requested an air strike on Tokyo. Having finished their main goal and totally exhausted of gas, Commander Jack Turner and his group make a crisis arrival in Zhejiang Region. Ying Zi and her little girl find an oblivious Jack Turner and save him despite the perils that it can spell for themselves should the Japanese troopers find out. From all out outsiders, the two in the long run foster a relationship that crosses social and language obstructions.
